The boss of ATPM Ford in Indonesia announced the FFTCC 2008 program last march. This Program is line with the motor sport program of Ford worldwide, especially in World Rally Championship(WRC). Ford involvement in national motor sport program is a form of commitment by Ford to the industry, as well as to the sport community in Indonesia.
He said "in our opinion motor sport in Indonesia has a good opportunity in the near future to support the growth of automotive industry in Indonesia as a whole. Therefore, Ford needs to be actively involved in motor sport in Indonesia that continously growing, especially related to our strong heritage in motor sport that was brought by our WRC Team that successfully won the constructor championship in 2006 and 2007."
