Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS)
Four wheel Anti-Lock Braking system (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) which are standard on New Ranger XLT models, help you maintain control at all times. EBD senses how your Ranger is loaded and delivers braking performance to the appropriate wheels.
Front & Side Airbags
Inside New Ranger you'll find advanced dual stage driver and front passenger airbags, and seatbelt pretensioners that regulate the load/tension. There are front side airbags to protect the driver and passenger from side impacts as the best and first in class feature. Driver and front passenger airbags and the side airbags are standard on all Ranger XLT models. So rest assured, regardless of whether you're loaded up with work or camping gear, New Ranger is looking after you and your passengers.
Superior Body Construction
New Rangers body construction is designed to disperse crash forces away from the vehicle's occupants. And on the Super cab model, the front door and rear access panel closes to form a virtual B-Pillar, which is far stronger than the conventional B-Pillar.
